On 29 July 2021 a meeting on the development of the fur industry in the Stavropol Territory was held in Mineralnye Vody under the leadership of the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation M.G. Reshetnikov. The meeting was attended by representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, as well as the Russian Fur and Fur Union and the Association of Fur and Leather Soft Gold (Pyatigorsk).
The participants discussed topical issues of the state and development of the fur industry in Russia and Stavropol Territory. They touched upon illegal trafficking of fur products, labelling of finished fur products, lending conditions for enterprises of the fur sector, support for the international exhibition of fur and leather "Soft Gold of Russia".
All the issues raised will be resolved through direct dialogue between the fur industry and government representatives.
