On September 03 2020, at the office of the Russian Fur Union, a meeting was held on the implementation of an international project Furmark sable with the participation of the Director of the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Sphere of Hunting of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation A. Filatov, FSBI "Federal Center for Hunting Development", Sojuzpushnina and Ruspushnina auctions and Savvatyevo farm.
The meeting discussed the current situation with the sale of sable skins in Russia, the progress of the Furmark project for the wild sable in Russia, the equipping of a certification center for humane traps in Russia on the basis of the Savvatyevo fur farm (Tver region).
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to conduct independent certification of the work of the Sojuzpushnin and Ruspushnina auctions by experts of the Federal Center for Hunting Development (FCHD) in the period from September 22-25, 2020 and equip a certification center for humane traps on the basis of the Savvatyevo fur breeding farm.
Within the framework of the meeting, Filatov A.A. presented to the president of RFU Sergey Stolbov Honorary Diploma of the Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation for many years of conscientious work and great personal contribution to the development of the hunting economy, conservation and rational use of wildlife.
